Can I pledge for multiple rewards?

This has been the #1 question from fans so far. The short answer is YES. Kickstarter rules make it really clear that they are not a store and we totally respect that. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that Kickstarter isn’t familiar with the intensity and loyalty of Wax Trax! fans from around the world. From what we can gather for a “work around”, we suggest adding a new account for each reward that you would like. We understand that this may not be as efficient to some as adding to a cart or combining orders like other sites, but we feel strongly that the benefits of Kickstarter definitely overshadows this little speed bump. Can I replace one of the bundled Wax Trax! shirts with the new PAILHEAD shirt?

Unfortunately not. We have a specific licensing agreement with Ian and need to keep this one separate from the other goodies. We apologize for the inconvenience. If needed , a pledge can be adjusted at anytime to upgrade or downgrade the reward tier. Last updated: Wed, Jul 1 2015 6:24 pm EDT

Will you have these items available after Kickstarter?

Some yes, some no. A lot of the items produced for kickstarter, such as the limited soundtrack on vinyl will only be available here. Other items may find their way into our online store at some point but we don’t have any current plans. Last updated: Fri, Jun 26 2015 11:20 am EDT

Why didn’t you offer the DVD as a reward?

When eating an elephant, take one bite at a time. We wanted to get the actual movie pieces in place before we turn our sights on the DVD production. I just ordered a shirt, how do I tell you my shirt size?

When will I know about the Chicago screening date?

We are really trying to make this event happen by the end of the year. Regardless of the date, we will be able to give you at least a 30 day lead time to make arrangements. Last updated: Fri, Jun 26 2015 11:18 am EDT

Do you ship outside the US?

YES-Absolutely! The long answer is a little more cautionary… If you have ever had a hard time with international orders or feel a little skeptical about your postal system (Brazil…I’m looking at you) then I would tread carefully. Most all of these rewards will be sent first class global without tracking (the least expensive way possible ). Because we have no quality control or follow up resources once it leaves the US, we can’t be held responsible for lost or stolen packages in another country. due to the limited nature of these rewards, we can not send out replacements. Bottom line, if you feel uneasy about receiving packages from the US, I would hold off. Also: We will send these out as “gifts” when declaring customs but please be advised that all duties and/or taxes due in the receiving country are the responsibility of the recipient. Can I pay for more expensive global shipping with tracking?

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
